I am a wife, mother, artist, web designer, and now also (I suppose) an athlete. Last April I decided to try running, with a goal of15 minutes, because I wanted a strong(er) cardiovascular system. I’ve never felt I had the ability to run well, but wondered if it was a self-imposed limit.
Soon my new goal was to complete a 5K, then it was to run farther or faster or more miles per week. Now I love the feeling of running, and am considering training for a half marathon. My knees have been sore recently, so I am cutting back my mileage as I head to the gym cross train and hopefully solve the issue. I just want to keep running!
Professionally, I paint and draw the human figure, and am thus fascinated with the human form and its structure for reasons other than fitness. I can also solve a rubiks cube and translate some Latin.

I just checked out your art page - it’s fantastic stuff, somehow warm, but with more than a hint of darkness.
